Compared to other “U-Channel” systems, Thesis Duo has been designed to make installation as quick as possible, without compromise in the aesthetic. Its double-glaze design together with the entry-level pricing make Thesis Duo the perfect partition for every project’s enhanced performance requirements.
OVERVIEW
- 40 mm (1,57″) high and 55 mm (2,17″) wide of extruded aluminum profile;
- Tempered or laminated glass thickness options: 10 mm [3/8″], 12 mm / 12,7 mm [1/2″];
- System tolerance – 20 mm [-13/16″] / + 20 mm [+13/16″];
- Sound insulation up to 43 dB;
- Maximum full-height 3.050 mm [10’], with clerestory max. 3660 mm [12’], self-supporting max. 2400 mm [8′];
- 2-way, 3-way or 4-way and variable angles available with bi-adhesive or aluminum mullion;
- Anodized and powder-coated aluminum finishes.
DOORS
Swing, Sliding, Pivot, panic door or with high frequency hardware (single or double) are available within the ADOTTA program.
Thesis Duo has a wide selection of models and door frames: frameless, aluminum/wooden framed, solid wood doors. The standard framed glass door “M40” is made with two layers of 4 mm [1/8”] glass.
The door jambs design has been developed to integrate fully with the partition, providing harmony on the overall aesthetic.
ADOTTA doors are engineered in compliance with ADA regulations. Doors can be equipped with additional accessories, matching project finish, such as:
- Pull (locking/non-locking), handles and locksets;
- Panic bars;
- Adotta-designed Door Stop;
- Door closer for swing doors;
- Automatic door closer for Operable Doors (eg. Dorma ED100 or similar);
- Soft closers for sliding doors;
- High-Frequency closing hardware (eg. Dorma Rail System or similar);
- Electronic accesses control (card reader, electric strike);
- Room scheduler preparation;
- Privacy/Switchable door glass frame;
- Acoustic dropseals with a sealing gasket.
